Because the health centre has really gone downhill, I was left on the phone waiting for twenty minutes in a queue then when I was first in the queue, I was cut off.
As my health centre I expect you to make sure I get to see a specialist for my ailments
I am suffering with my spine , neck hip and pains in my scull, my appointment was supposed to be 16th June, I am still waiting.I was referred to see a neurosurgeon ,
I. Don’t blame Dr Marriott, who referred me, he is the only pleasant doctor at the health centre, kind and with a good bedside manner. Pity the rest of you are not the same.
Reception staff abrupt. Given different instructions on making appointments for blood test by GP and receptionist.
Unacceptable length of time to answer the phone.... after listening to a very long preamble!
A call late in the day so not sure we would be able to get an emergency appointment. Receptionist very helpful and doctor rang back quickly and treatment advised.
Having moved here from Cumbria it is like stepping back in time. We have been used to first class, efficient service but now it’s is third class and bureaucratic. The Health Centre staff are excellent so one must assume it is the management which are at fault. We were warned by many people how poor the service is but we had no choice. I would be happy to discuss my concerns if necessary.
The efficiency of this practice in coping with the difficulties of physical restructuring during a pandemic needs to be recognized. It is an extraordinary achievement on the part of everyone concerned, and the thanks of the whole community should be recorded.
